Today we continued practicing adding and subtracting integers. We finished our classwork from yesterday, did a short scavenger hunt, and worked on USA Test Prep. Remember "Same signs add, different signs subtract, take the sign of the bigger number then you'll be exact." HW: Complete the 'Integers Practice' sheet STUDY for Quiz on adding and subtracting integers tomorrow!
Today we practiced adding and subtracting integers by completing a puzzle and even a little scavenger hunt! Make sure you understand how to add AND subtract since both will be on the quiz this Friday. HW: Finish the classwork sheets that you did not finish in class today.
Today we continued with integers, but instead we started subtracting! There is really only one method to do this 'KCC' that works ALL the time. There are many other ways, but this one works the best (I think!) HW: Finish your adding and subtracting integers worksheet. You can review the power point and notes as well below if you need.
Today we started on Unit 7 which is actually one of the Units in 7th grade! We started adding integers, which is really exciting! Remember, you can review the power point and also the notes here if you need to look at it again. HW: Finish the 'Adding Integers' worksheet
Today was the LAST day for Stamps! We completed USA Test Prep and also our 'World Tour of the Milestone' quizzes in order to do this. We will be starting integers on Monday so be prepared to rock 7th grade stuff!
HW: You can still complete the USA Test Prep assignments if you still need stamps since this is done on the computer. Have a great weekend! Today we continued to collect stamps either by taking the quizzes for each city, or by working on USA Test Prep. Remember that there are quite a few activities in each practice assignment so in order for you to get 5 stamps for a USA Test Prep assignment, all activities need to be completed.
HW: Continue to work on USA Test Prep Assignments. Last day to get 20 stamps is tomorrow! For those of you wanting the quizzes to be put on the blog, they are not labeled by each city so I can't put them on here. You are more than welcome to take some copies from the wall tomorrow to do over the weekend though. Today we were able to make a deal with Ms. Dudek about stamps and you can do this at home too!
There are 5 assignments on USA Test Prep. Each assignment is work 5 stamps. So if you are able to get all 5 assignments done, then that will equal the 20 stamps that you are required to get at the end of the review unit. Here is the info for USA Test Prep: www.usatestprep.com eastcobb74 Lunch # Lunch # HW: Work on either USA Test Prep assignments or the "World Tour of the Milestone" Remember, all assignments and games must be done in each USA Test Prep After Milestone Practice Assignment in order to count for 5 stamps. Today we went over our GAMS review #5 and continued working on our stamps. You should have gotten at least 6 stamps by now (see the grade book). By the end of this week you should have at least 9 stamps. We will continue our review tomorrow and Thursday as well. HW: GAMS Review #6 (last one!!) due tomorrow
Milestone Day 4 Science Monday! Today we continued our 'World Tour of the Milestone' by collecting stamps in our passport for each standard that we have learned this year. We will continue the tour next week as well so we can ensure most students have gotten all their stamps done. Remember that you can complete the actual assignments at home and just come in to take the quizzes during class. HW: GAMS #5 is due Tuesday! Have a great weekend and relax from taking the Math Milestone today and get ready for Science! Remember: Progress Reports were sent home today and are due MONDAY signed
