Today we took a trip to Dave's Diner! Not really, but we did look at some receipts from there to figure out prices. Tomorrow we will start dividing fractions :)
HW: Finish your questions sheet from Dave's Diner! Make sure you are caught up on HW from the last couple of nights. Today we went over our quiz from Friday, some will have to have a parent signature and have been asked to come in early one day this week to work out some calculating issues on their quiz. You can always check your grades on ParentVue and StudentVue. We also did a gallery walk to review what we have learned so far in math this year!
HW: p. 80 in the textbook Can't believe we are done with our 3rd week already! Today we took our 2nd quiz. It covered adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing decimals. Next week we will continue to practice decimals and move into dividing fractions (WOOO HOO!!) HW: Finish the Decimal review sheet that was started in class. Remember to put your FINAL answers on the actual sheet and your work on a separate sheet of paper. You can use a calculator on the BACK ONLY! Have a great weekend
Thank you to everyone who came out to Back to School Night last night! I had a great time getting to know some parents and explaining how the class is run. Today we practiced all operations with decimals, went over our quiz from last week, and practiced place values.
