Today was the LAST DAY for stamps, so hopefully you were able to get all 8 stamps. We had three weeks to work on this, so you had plenty of time to fit it all in.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Because of all the stressed out peeps this morning, I have extended the deadline for the USA Test Prep assignments until Sunday at Midnight. Make sure they are all done! They are very time consuming, which is why they were assigned more than a week ago. Also, you may want to purchase a spiral notebook or composition notebook in order to keep up with your book study assignments. Wooooo!!!! Spring Break is finally here! Today we continued our review of this years units. Hopefully you got at least 3 stamps done so that way you can ensure you receive a 100% for your weekly quiz grade. We also received our milestone spring break review :) This is individualized per student so don't try and copy off of your friend because they may have more homework than you. This assignment was based off of your test scores from your unit tests this year and also a short review quiz. If you missed a question, you received questions in your packet that go along with that concept. If you misplace your packet, hopefully you remember the units that you needed to work on. I have attached them below. If you would like extra practice on the other units that you did not have to complete, you can always print out your own copy to practice! Today we finished watching the first episode of Space Odyssey and took a quick Milestone quiz to see what information we need to review. Today we discussed eclipses a little more in depth, went over our HW from last night, took a quick quiz about the phases of the moon, watched Bill Nye explain why we have moon phases, and tried to match the names of the moon with the month that they occur. Today we briefly discussed Ceres, the asteroid that is now considered a Dwarf Planet. We also did a Mystery Science about the phases of the moon, thought about what causes the phases of the moon, and even started thinking about the different names of the phases of the moon. HW: Complete the article questions on the super tides!
