Today we went over meteors, meteoroids, meteorites, comets, and asteroids. We took some quick notes, watched a few brainpops, and even got our project booklets. Tomorrow we will be working on designing our projects in the computer lab, so make sure you bring your ideas! HW: Finish your comic strip if you didn't last night (one night extension!)
Today we were able to learn a little bit about meteoroids, meteors, meteorites, comets, and asteroids. You were to complete a comic strip for each of these objects. If you didn't, finish in class, you did to finish them for homework tonight. HW: Finish your comic strips!
Today we were able to see just how far each planet is away from the Sun! We noticed a lot of things, like how the inner planets are close to each other compared to the gas giants, which are way far apart. HW: Finish your Lab Sheet from today!
Today we took our first quiz over Unit 1 so far (galaxies, planets, etc.). We also took some quick notes on planets and made a double bubble for inner and outer planets.
HW: None! Make sure you get your permission slip signed for Space Camp Today we were able to go to the StarLab!!! We completed a small assignment in there as we were looking around the lab, so we could compare and contrast the planets. HW: Study for your quiz on Monday! Today we finished our Gravity and Orbit labs in class, if you didn't finish, make sure it is done for HW.

Today we discussed the different types of galaxies and where we are located in the universe. We were also able to identify our "cosmic address".
