Today and yesterday we were in the computer lab working on our presentations for our Storm Projects which are due on Monday. Make sure that your model is CREATIVE, INNOVATIVE, and REALISTIC. Take a look back at your rubric in order to make sure you have all the information you need. HW: Storm project due MONDAY!! Today we discussed air pressure at length. We even did an experiment to show our knowledge about air pressure and created a model to show how low pressure works in our atmosphere. HW: Work on project! Remember your information is due FRIDAY and your model is due MONDAY Tomorrow we will be in the computer lab to work on our presentations, so make sure you bring something in order to save it and work on it over the weekend if needed.
Today we were able to work on our projects. The goal was to get the majority of your work done for your project. We are going to the computer lab on Thursday to work on presentations, so be prepared with your information for your project by then!

We also got our Storm Project sheets so we can start planning and creating our buildings. Remember you are NOT required to work in a group and can only work with one other person. This person must be in your same period class, and also have the same type of storm. HW: Work on project!
Today we took a short quiz over heat transfer, wind, and air pressure. We also took a look at weather maps and how to interpret data on a classic map.
HW: Finish your weather map practice in your textbook If you didn't bring your textbook home, use the online textbook link on the menu toolbar to the left. Today we went over air masses and fronts. Remember the four main air masses and how they move in order to create weather! This week is early release for conference week, so we will be having shorter classes this week. Today we were able to go over winds, air pressure, and heat transfer and take some guided notes to have that to study. HW: None! Make sure you got your edpuzzle done over the weekend on winds
Today we went over land and sea breezes and what makes them different. We also were able to watch a little bit of Bill Nye as he compared the different layers of the atmosphere.
HW: Winds Edpuzzle is due MONDAY!! Today we had enough time to finish our sand and water graph and answer the concluding questions at the end of the lab. If you are NOT done, you need to finish it for homework. HW: Finish your Sand and Water Lab (I have attached the graph of my data for you to look at)
