Today we reviewed measurement very quickly then took our quiz. We then started on our homework on converting from the customary to the metric system. HW: Finish Conversion between Systems sheet. Reminders: Conference week is next week, we will get out of school at 2:15 every day! Box tops for our homeroom are due 10/23! Today we practice converting measurements in the customary system since we learned about this on Monday. We had a scavenger hunt around the room to check our answers. Remember to study your notes from your MSG to study! HW: Complete p. 125 - 126 in your math textbook
Today we got our quizzes back from Unit 2 Quiz 3 on percents. We also started our week of measurements! We learned about the customary system and how to convert from one unit to another in the customary system. We glued our Customary booklet into our MSG on p. 80 and went over p.81 in our MSG. HW: p. 123-124 in Textbook Quiz corrections for Unit 2 Quiz 3 are due Thursday Announcements: The Book Fair is next week during conference week. If you have not already signed up for a time with your homeroom teacher, make sure you do that by the end of the day for conferences! Oct 23rd we will have Food Trucks from 6 - 8pm in the parking lot! R.E.P Rally for 20 REP Bucks is THIS Friday!
