Today we got our tests back and were able to make corrections. If you received an 80% or above, you were given enrichment for Unit 1. If you received below an 80% on the test, you received remediation for Unit 1. Remember that BOTH are due tomorrow. Remediation MUST be done in order to retake your test tomorrow. An average of your first test and your retake will then go into the grade book.

Today we turned in our Unit 1 Folders and took our Unit 1 Test. We also took our pre-test for Unit 2 and got our first word search. Parents: please note that these are NOT for a grade. These word searches are a great preview for the next unit and very engaging for the students. I encourage you to help your student with the word search and make it a family event. Spark conversations with your student about the words you're looking for to see if anyone knows the definition or hear predictions about what your student think it may be. All word searches earn 'House Points'.
