Today we discussed the difference between hail, sleet, and freezing rain. Do you know the difference? We also were able to hang up our water cycle posters around the school to bring awareness to students, teachers and administration about water overconsumption. We then were able to make a water cycle baggie that will be hung up in our language arts or social studies rooms to see if we can see the water cycle happen within our baggie. Wow, what a great weekend for UGA! Not so much for our Falcons, but hopefully we will do great things Thursday night :) Today we received our quizzes back from Friday and cleared up any confusion we previously had. Overall the quizzes were EXCELLENT, great job! We also completed a water cycle brochure to help us remember the processes that take place and also water distribution throughout our Earth. HW: If you didn't get a chance in class, calculate your water footprint with your family tonight using www.watercalculator.org How does your family compare to the national average? *Bring a sharpie tomorrow for classwork!!
Today we took a short quiz over water distribution and the water cycle. The grades are already in the gradebook so you can check those! Remember that we only have two more weeks for this semester, so keep up with your grades. We also had time to finish our water conservation posters.
HW: Watch your water cycle edpuzzle! Have a great weekend and GO DAWGS! |
