A BIG thanks to all my classes for bearing with me as I have lost my voice the past two days. Text to voice software definitely helps in these types of situations. Today we took a quiz over the layers of the earth and continental drift. We also filled in our plate boundary chart on the back of our continental drift notes.
HW: Watch all 4 videos. The plate boundary video has 7 questions, not 9, so make sure you have answered the CORRECT questions for each of the videos. You can put your answers on the same piece of paper, but you need to write out the actual answer for each question. We are still working with edpuzzle, so sorry for the delay! Unit 4 Test is Friday 11/17 Turkey Grams are $1 and will be sold starting on MONDAY Dress for Success is 11/14 Team Wood shirts are STILL on sale. Due date has been pushed to 11/27!

Earth Layers Questions
1. If seismic waves are deflecting off in different directions when they hit the inner core, what do you think is different about the inner core? a. It's solid b. It's a gas c. It's a liquid 2. The older fossils are at the top of the layers of the earth b. The younger fossils are deeper c. the older fossils are deeper 4. How does fossil evidence support Wegener's hypothesis of continental drift? a. Plants and animal fossils show evidence of changes in Earth's polarity b. Fossil evidence suggests that the continents have always been in their current position c. No similarities exist between fossils on different continents 5. Where is the older crust when looking at a mid ocean ridge? a. Right next to the crack b. Far away from the crack Unit 4 Plate Tectonics from Brittany Dudek on Vimeo.
