We also were able to take some time inside the STARLAB which was here for math and science night, but we were able to use it today during class. Today we discussed the differences between heliocentric and geocentric theories and also touched on the big bang theory. We also turned in our Unit 8 Vocabulary and got started on our own theories of how the universe was formed! Today we started unit 8 by kicking it off with why we have seasons! We filled in our seasons chart, watched a brainpop, and even saw some interviews done with Harvard graduates about why we have seasons.

Today we were able to take retake Unit 7 tests if you turned in your completed remediation today. We also got started on our Unit 8 Vocabulary. We also received our 'moon calendar' project that will be due on April 9th, right when we get back from Spring Break! You are to observe the moon each night to see how it changes. HW: Finish Unit 8 Vocabulary Moon Calendar (due April 9th) Heliocentric vs. Geocentric Edpuzzle due THURSDAY Math and Science night is Thursday at 6pm-8pm. Today we received our Unit 7 Test back for analysis and corrections. If you earned below an 80% on the test, you are to finish remediation in order to retake your test tomorrow. If you earned an 80% or above, you need to finish your enrichment. HW: Remediation or Enrichment Study for retakes tomorrow! Heliocentric vs. Geocentric edpuzzle is due THURSDAY! Today we turned in our Unit 7 Folders and took our Unit 7 Test. Grades are already posted in the gradebook so make sure you check ParentVue and StudentVue. If you are in danger of failing/being on probation, you received a hand-out of your missing assignments today so make sure you turn that in on MONDAY! HW: Finish word search for house points FIELD TRIP FORMS AND MONEY IS DUE MONDAY!!!! Make sure you turn these in so you can attend :)
Today we finished presentations (some still needed to present!) We also went over our Storm Quizzes and played a few kahoots to review for our test tomorrow. We also got all our work passed back to be organized and put into our Unit 7 Folders. HW: Finish Webquest STUDY!!! Unit 7 Test is Tomorrow, it is very challenging Unit 7 Folder is due tomorrow MONDAY is the last day to turn in your field trip forms. PLEASE make sure you do this or you will not be able to attend!
