Today we were able to work on our projects. The goal was to get the majority of your work done for your project. We are working for the rest of the week in class, so the goal is to be done with research and your presentation by Friday. HW: Work on research for your project! All information for projects are due FRIDAY Models and Final projects are due MONDAY

Today we completed an air pressure experiment! We got to see the difference in low and high pressure air and how they act to equalize themselves. We also got our Storm Project hand outs, we will start working on them in class tomorrow. HW: Finish Air Pressure Lab Start thinking about Storm Project
Yesterday we continued working on our webquest and took a very short quiz. Today we learned about airmasses and fronts, and how when two air masses meet, they create weather! HW: Study! Today your webquest and textbook work was due, so make sure you get that in for a late grade if you didn't turn it in today.
REMEMBER THAT THIS IS DUE FRIDAY! Make sure you have all 4 pages done :)

Today we practiced weather maps in our textbooks. If you didn't finish your work, make sure you get it done by FRIDAY as we will be checking it and going over it then.
HW: Finish textbook weather maps practice Today we went over land and sea breezes again and were able to hear from Bill Nye! 3rd period went outside for our Wind Down Lunch.

Today we went over our sand and water lab as a class. We compiled our average temperatures and made our double line graphs in order to compare that data. HW: Finish your lab questions (4th period is behind and will do this tomorrow)
Today we started our sand and water lab to see which one heats up faster, and which one cools down faster. This will determine the direction in which wind blows during the day and also effect overall temperatures of an area. HW: Winds Edpuzzle is due FRIDAY!
